While working as a Teachers Aide, I became fascinated by the Montessori Method, its philosophy, and the unique manner in which I saw various Montessori classrooms functioning.
I worked in Forest Bluff Montessori School in Lake Bluff, IL. in a classroom next to Paula Lillard. It was there that I began to really wonder about these innovative teaching methods, so I contacted the American Montessori Society.
It was shortly there after that I went on to Kendall College in Evanston, IL. to get my Certification and became a Directress.
Then when I got my own classroom, I decided to create my own original visual aids as learning tools. Here you will find some examples that my father illustrated for me.....Jeanne Pearson.
